Generally, No-they must pose a threat to your physical safety. But If you can demonstrate with dates, times and quotes and witnesses, the ocntant harrassment, a judge may grant you a retraining order

you could probably sue for unjust vexation and make a case of it. In california you could probably get a multi million dollar settlement out of it. Just ignore the moron and carry on with your life. I learned long ago that paying attention to people like that only give them power over you. If they arent important in your life, why should you care about their opinion? Insignificant person=insignificant opinion. By acknowledging them, you are in effect assigning them and their opinion value.

Why would you want to do that? I'm sure you could, but you will most likely just ruin the person's life that you are getting it against. Just get them out of your life. Only if you feel really threatened should you do this.

You'd probably get laughed out of the courthouse. Unless you're being physically threatened I don't think you'd qualify.
