There are people answering this with false facts. ~Peas~ you say that Go DJ and the Carter albumwas tight, but he didnt write any of that, that was all Gillie Da Kidd, Gillie wrote all of his stuff to that point so I dont understand what you are saying, he did the same thing Bow Wow did. He wore Gillie's chain in the Go DJ video, that wasn't Wayne's chain. He did kiss him in the mouth and it does seem a little gay to me, but hey he can be the first main stream gay rapper more power to him. Gay pride I guess.No HOMO! Wayne does have some flow but if you realize he doesn't always say something speacial, he pronounces words different that ordinary people. ie; White girl remix, 'Lindsey Lohan no I got that Lindsey LohAUn!!!' Get it?? There are alot of rappers better than him, Z-Ro is one of them, I thionk Z-Ro is the best rapper since the best Rapper has Died(Pac), not retired.

I kno what you mean, I like Lil Wayne but i dont think he is close to be the best rapper alive. Lil Wayne put out the Carter 2 which is one of my favorite albums of all time. People started thinking he is the best. He got murdered by Gillie Da Kid, He even stole the Clipse's swagger with the whole bape thing and the EGHHHHHHHH trademark by The Clipse. Baby is getting destroyed by Juvinile, and BG. Lil wayne isnt even the best rapper in the south. To me its Chamillionaire. Chamilitary Mayne!!

When he first came out, he was like what, 13?

one of the hottest songs out there at the time,
and he was young.

Commerical artist...there isnt anybody coming out thats competition...So he is flooding the market with his voice...giving ppl no choice but to start liking him...Over exposure. If you notice everytime you turn on the radio Wayne is on somebody's song. I think he sound like trash now...tryna change his flow up like he is that nice...lol
