If you are living in America, Why? If an American say's anything about your home country, you'll defend it, but you don't want to live there, you want to live in America, And then when you live here, you don't seem to want anything to do with Americans or our culture?
Please speak up I'm listening!

Ok i guess i have to break down ur questions...
1. I live in America because my parents brought me here and i had no say.
2. If anybody says something negative about my home country of course i'll defend it, that's where i was born how can i not defend it.
3. I didn;t choose to live here or there, i live here now, i've grown up here and America is really all i know but i visit my home country.
4. Your statement about not wanting anythin to do with americans or the culture doesn't apply to me either, my future husband is an american.

So don't generalize just because u've heard ppl saying things doesn't mean they're true u can't possible know what every single immigrant thinks.

This question is strange, but since it is honest, here is an honest answer. I am from another country and if someone were to say something negative about my country of course I would defend it, based on whether it was true or not. However, immigrants come to the US for a better life, to help their families that are still in other countries, and for many different reasons. But you cannot say that those immigrants that live here "don't seem to want anything to do with Americans or our culture" because that would be an inaccurate statement. What are you basing that on? I am an American just as I am a native of my own country and would fight, represent and do whatever was needed for my country as well as the US. I have assimilated well into the American culture and really resent your statement but hope that my answer will help you see all the incorrect assumptions in your question.

You're "listening?" Read your statement again - you've already pigeon-holed them into pre-conceived notions and generalizations.

If I were an immigrant, I'd steer clear of this "question" - it's clear you're seeking support for an agenda rather than "listening."
