I really love baseball. If u have paid any attention to it lately u know that berry bonds is about to break the record for most home runs. He is going to beat the great hank aaron witch did all of his home runs clean. I think that bond did steroids at some point. Can anyone answer if he was doing steroids?

I think he may have...but he hasnt gotten caught, one thing is for certain, he is one of the greatest hitters of all time...after all the debate, trials and testing, and a year after hitting the 73 home runs Barry led the national league in hitting average, steroids alone cannot make a ballplayer great, steroids do not help a batter with his hand eye coordination or swing, his fielding or base stealing...getting the all time best 7 MVPs took being a talented player, being the second player ever to hit 40 and steal 40 took talent...to play as long as he has, and to be so feared a hitter that teams have walked him more intentionally in each season (over the last 7 years) than any two entire teams get in a year is proof... of course he cant field or run like he used to...he's 43 years old...ask any major league player who isnt sheffield (goofy and ridiculously opinionated when it suits his lack of current press)...and they will tell you they respect bonds for what he has accomplished...they know they may not see another player as skilled for years to come...a-rod may break the home run record, but it will take for him to play well and without injury long, and he will have done so in a home ballpark that is hitter friendly...not like the horrible pitchers parks barry and his godfather played in...(ATT, candlestick)...having watched numerous games in the old stick, its pretty amazing that Willie had even got to 660...the winds always swirled there at the old point and if you ever watched games there you know, dozens and more likely more than a hundred balls willie hit pretty well got knocked down to the warning track because of where that park was located, the new park is much the same, although beautiful it is another pitchers park with a 24 foot wall in right field and winds off the bay...anyway...barry will not get caught with steroids in his system...and the naysayers will be waiting for him to go to court...but he will have the home run record by then, and not because of steroids...but because he is a hell of a hitter...

Take a look at his body....everyone knows he did..which is why the baseball commisioner would rather not be on hand when he does pass Henry Aaron, but, he has to show up, because the fans are starting to see Bonds as the next great homerun hitter...Shame too...my opinion...I don't believe that he should be awarded the the record because he and others used steroids to get where they are at...while the old players might have drank...they didn't do steroids....personally, think all of them should have been banned from baseball like Pete Rose was....

He took steroids and HGH, but they were "LEGAL" at the time, unlike what most people think. The commissioner and MLB did not ban or make steroids and HGH illegal and did not test for those substances until recently.

Most people cannot say for sure that Henry Aaron hit all of his HR's cleanly because there was no drug testing back then and baseball players even played with hangovers. These young kids say he's clean, he went to the gym everyday and had a nice life. Most of them were not even born when Henry beat Babe Ruth's record, but I witnessed it on TV.

When Barry took steroids, he did so knowing what the consequences were as he got older. He simply did it to help his team win.....

He'll never admit it, but look at the pictures, and man, look at his head! It is now the size of a beach ball. When he started with the Pirates, he was a beanpole. No 37 year old man can naturally put on over 25 pounds of muscle in one off-season period. I think there is no way he DIDN'T do steroids. I am totally and completely uninterested in this record. Records and "milestones" are being broken and met practically every day. I can't wait for Alex Rodriguez or Albert Pujols to break it. I hate Barry Bonds. In my mind, Hank Aaron will always be the home run king.

Bonds testified under oath that he took steroids. The only debate is whether he took them knowlingly (which he claims he didn't). He tested positive for amphetimines last year plus the physical and anecodtal evidence that he has been using steroids and HGH since 1999 is pretty damning. Once the grand jury finally convenes this fall there will probably be even more evidence available.

Yes. In fact, he said he did. But he said that he took them "unknowningly". He thought it was flax seed oil.

My wife uses flax seed oil as a dressing on her salads and I can promise you her head has not grown one inch compared to the the size Barry Bonds' head grew in roughly 6 years from the time he left the Pittsburgh Pirates until he hit 72 HRs with the San Fran Giants.

Barry Bonds has also tested postitive for "uppers" in which he blamed his teammate Mark Sweeney.

Why do you think Barry Bonds missed the entire year after they started testing for steroids...he had to get them out of his system.

Barry Bonds will break the record and later this year he will be brought up on federal charges. He will have a cell next Mike Vick.

hah.. I love these people that say "he did".. like they know.. lmao what the hell man, people are so ignorant. why accuse him through what you've heard.. develope your own opinion on him.. Jesus Christ that's annoying .. "he did them". " how do you know" .. " I just know".. "great answer dik face". I wish, and I know this won't happen, that when he breaks the record he goes to the nearest camera .. gives it the finger and says " *** all yall" and then walks out of the stadium never to be seen again.

edit----

by the way, he admitted to using a cream.. got that? a cream. lmao I don't think they make a cream that you can rub in and instantly hit 753 HR's. And if there is .. may I purchase some?

there is a lot of evidence that says barry bonds did do steroids such as his agent was caught selling steroids to other players and he is on balco's mailing list but there is only one thing that matters he DID NOT TEST POSITIVE FOR ANY STEROIDS
