How do you guy's feel about the governement controlling our medecine, or should I say the healthcare system. how can a country so big, give us citizens and residents so little in return.

It is a manner which takes away freedom in this nation. Or at least takes it away from those without grand finances. The saddest thing is that it puts those in wealth in control- something this nation was supposed to be avoiding when it was created.
The socialized medical systems in other nations like Sweden make much more sense.

We pay more than any other country for healthcare (twice as much as other developed countries on average) and in return get the worst healthcare system in the developed world.
To the answer about Canada - since they are better at keeping thier people alive and healthy - and in particular better at keeping infants alive - your point seems a pretty hollow one.

most people should say it sucks, simply because it does, healthcare, drugs, all that. Gov Blagojevich of Illinois went against the feds and said he was going to get drugs from Canada and the Feds went apecrap. That alone shows they control and will continue to do so as long lobbyists are around.

i think they already have the cure for cancer but they are not giving it out cuz they are making a lot of money by having people take pills and chemo and xrays etc....its a big conspiracy....if somebody invented the cure for cancer and put a patent on it, he can sell that patent for BILLIONS of dollars to....o i dont know...maybe a company like Blue Cross $ Blue Sheild? hmmm...all those millions and billions of dollars trying to find a cure for cancer and still no cure eh?? yea right!
