I think in John 4 when Jesus meets the woman at the well and she appearingly to me tries to deceive him with saying " I have no husband" I feel like jesus holds he accountable by saying " yes the man you live with now is not your husband and you have already had 5. i call this woman's sin the sin of ommission, what do you think

If you read it fromt he Message Version of the Bible it sure sounds like He is holding her accountable for her untruth:
"That's nicely put: 'I have no husband.' You've had five husbands, and the man you're living with now isn't even your husband. You spoke the truth there, sure enough."
19-20"Oh, so you're a prophet!

The carnal mind is very ingenious in shifting off convictions, and keeping them from fastening. But how closely our Lord Jesus brings home the conviction to her conscience! He severely reproved her
present state of life.
