I think in John 4 when Jesus meets the woman at the well and she appearingly to me tries to deceive him with saying " I have no husband" I feel like jesus holds he accountable by saying " yes the man you live with now is not your husband and you have already had 5. i call this woman's sin the sin of ommission, what do you think

If you read it fromt he Message Version of the Bible it sure sounds like He is holding her accountable for her untruth:
"That's nicely put: 'I have no husband.' You've had five husbands, and the man you're living with now isn't even your husband. You spoke the truth there, sure enough."

19-20"Oh, so you're a prophet!

The carnal mind is very ingenious in shifting off convictions, and keeping them from fastening. But how closely our Lord Jesus brings home the conviction to her conscience! He severely reproved her

present state of life.

Jesus only called her act a sin and gave her living water whereas she would never thrist again. She could only have been in the sin of fornication or adultery if some of the men that Jesus mention was married. The woman said she had no husband and Jesus said the one you have now also is not your husband. The woman apparently was delivered that day.

If I'm understanding you correctly then you are saying that she wasn't honest to God, however, In her eyes and belief she was being honest.
The man that she was living with was NOT her husband but a partner or livin. Jesus cleared that up by saying that she is living with a man and not married (Which is not right) and that she had had 5 husbands before.

I don't think she was leaving things out on purpose I don't think she realised who it was she was speaking to but she came to believe pretty quickly if you read on.

Jesus himself said to her "you are right in saying that you have no husband because you have had five before and the one you are living with is not your husband"

He is saying she is right but....he makes it clear that she wasn't in the right ot be living with a man who is not her husband.

hope that helps
