What you wrote sounds correct, but like someone else said, it does depend on the school system. It also depends on how well you do, since they won't want to put you in a class that you're not ready to go into.

Like you, I took Geometry as a freshman. Then Alg II/Trig, followed directly by Calculus AB AP. Then my senior year, I took a second year of Calculus: Calculus BC AP. To know for sure, talk with your teacher or your counselor at your school. They should know.

By the way, I strongly suggest that you take as many AP (Advanced Placement) classes or concurrent enrollment classes that you can, provided that you are up to the challenge. By doing so, you can get a lot of your general education requirements for college out of the way while you are still in high school.

Good luck!

It depends on what school you go to and what textbooks you will use. I've seen Geometry taught before Algebra I, but you can learn one without knowing the other. Obviously you need Algebra I before Algebra II, and you need both geometry and algebra before you can learn trigonometry. Pre-calculus often is a mix of advanced algebra and geometry, plus some of the basic principles of calculus (consider it Algebra III/Geometry II).

It will depend on the school system. What you describe is how mine went in school except the trig was mixed in with Pre-Cal as well as Algebra 2. Pre-Cal is a good one to skip, if you are so inclined.

Correct, but a smary girl like you interested in Aurora and all will probably not need a separate pre-calc. course. Look into Advanced Placement classes your junior and senior year. This is the way to earn college credits while you are still in high school.
