Yes Fred Thomson (the guy who played Arthur Branch on Law and Order) is the same person I'm talking about now

I'd have to go with the Republican ticket. I am not a huge fan of Guliani but he is tough on defense. He would be balanced out by a old Reaganite Republican like Fred Thompson. That is why I would vote for them and I wouldn't vote for the others because in this day and age we can't afford to have presidents who believe we have to ask the world community if it is okay to defend ourselves when were attacked.

Right now, it'd be a toss up between thompson and Giuliani, leaning heavily to the latter. Why? Two reasons, first, the dem.s still haven't really found anyone worth fielding as a viable/electable candidat. And second, While I liked Thompson's tuff stand when he was in office, Giuliani made it perfectly clear that he knows right from wrong -- pissed off a lot of liberals in the big apple, but under his leadership, crimes like rape, theft and homocide all went dramatically down while he was mayor. It was only after the cowardly 9/11 attacks that EVERYONE came to love him. Like Bush, he doesn't care about popularity nearly as much as he does doing what is right.

I would reluctantly vote for Rudy Giuliani/Thompson. I would like the ticket better if it were reversed. They are much more conservative and committed to a more limited government. All I hear from Hilary is confiscate profits, expand government, raise taxes, etc. She has no firm position on a solution in Iraq, good or bad.

Fred Thompson is the closest thing to the ideals of Ronald Reagen of those 4 but to be honest I prefer the 3 GOP Congressmen

Hunter Tancredo Paul

I would have to vote the Clinton/Obama ticket. I think that the only real path to change would be through a democratic ticket. All the Republicans at this point aren't willing to pull away from Bush and try to do something different. They are sticking too close to his thoughts on Iraq and that makes me wonder if they can handle the situation any better.

Obama has already stated that he would never take second place. Thomson would be the President and he would choose his own Vice President and I doubt it would be Giuliani.

Thompson but preferably with Romney instead. Rudy is way to liberal on social issues for me. The last person on earth I would vote for is the new face of the socialist party....Hillary.

very possibly none of the above - that is what is wrong with polls - they have a way of trying to direct answers to the pollsters and not the people.
