If you have another tank, Isolate the Molly. If you dont have another tank, I highly suggest you get one. It is highly possible that the molly will pass on ich if she is kept with the other fish. Go to the store and buy some ich away fast relief and add the recommeded dose. Do this for a few days and also do a water change. The ich away will kill any eggs that the ich has laid, and prevent future infections.

If they don't have it yet, the other fish are likely to get it, since the parasite will be in the water as well as on the infected fish, so yes, you'll need to treat the entire tank.

You can treat this with salt and heat. Increase the temperature a few degrees an hour to get it to 86-90o. Add salt at 1 tablespoon per gallon. The salt used shouldn't be table salt (or any that contains iodine), but kosher, canning, rock, or aquarium salt can be used.

Treat for 10-14 days, or at least 3-5 days after you no longer see spots on your fish. If you stop treatment too early, your fish may be reinfected. When the parasites are on the fish, they're protected by a cyst, and it's only when they're off the fish and in the water that they're affected.

You can also treat with medication, and something containing malachite green and formalin is the best - look for Quick Cure or Rid Ich (you can probably find one of these at WalMart). These medications are both carcinogenic, so be careful when handling them.

The best product that I found was Jungle Laboratories Ick Clear. It clears up ich problems in your freshwater aquarium quickly. It also protects secondary infections. This product can be found at the website listed below. They can in either a package of 8 or 100. Each tab dissolves easily and quickly in your aquarium.

I was just reading up on Ich. The fish that has it, should be quarantined immediately. Here is a website with more information, symptoms, and treatments for Ich:

If the other fish don't have it yet, they will get it. There is a conditioner to put in the water that can help eliminate it.
