I got a friend that does not believe in pay her bills. Usually her parents paid for everything. Since she moved out her parents make her pay her own bills, that she made some loans in her name. She does not believe in pay bills. She tried to avoid the bills correctors because she got a call ID. In addition, she would not answer their phone calls. Her bills have not paid for three months, and still are not intending to pay them. What will happen if she continues? Beside she would not have a good credit to borrow again. What could they do to her?

With bills for utilities such as electricity, cable, cell phone, internet, etc., they will shut off the service. For things like car loans, they will repossess the car to try and recover the amount of the loan. In some cases, especially with things like unpaid taxes or child support, they can take what is owed from a paycheck in the future to recover costs.

The bad credit will not only prevent your friend from getting a credit card or loan in the next 7-10 years...utilities, insurance companies, and employers all look at credit data. If your friend applies for a job and the employer sees that she is not responsible enough to pay her bills they may not hire her. She may also become ineligible for insurance, or setting up phone or electrical service at another residence.

Take her to court , sue here then put a lien on anything she owns (although she is probably too young to really own anything yet) .

Besides not being able to get a loan when she really needs it ( like to get a vehicle ) ,
Many employers are now doing credit checks and people with bad credit don't get hired because they are considered risks .

Soon , she may loose her apartment and Not be able to get another because they do credit checks .

As her life continues down the toilet , she may be forced to become a hooker to bail herself out .

I recommend you be a long distance friend . Some collectors might also decide to put a bullet in her when she starts borrowing from the loan sharks . . .

Bills such as electricity and gas will normally allow late payments or work on payment plans, but if they recieve nothing, they will disconnect services eventually and possibly put her in collections, if she is attaining credit cards and spending money with no intentions on paying, it could mean jail time if she gets caught, landlords can evict her, but they have to go through legal means also, usually 30 to 90 days notice.

well, I will tell you this. first your friend is very dishonest. that kind of behavior hurts everyone in this country. someone has to pay so prices go up for everyone to cover the cost of people like her. I see people like this in the emergency room every day,LOOSERS.
Your friends credit will be ruined for many years. Any paycheck she receives in the future can be garnished or just taken. she will end up on welfare,in section 8 housing and on foods stamps at YOUR and my expense. Personally I would report her in a heartbeat!!

The penalty depends on where she is. Some places the penalties are much rougher than others.

People have gone to jail if they lied on an application. It is bank fraud.

Bad credit means you pay more for insurance, rent, phones, almost everything.
