yes, been a fan for years. If you have not had the chance to see the film monterey music festival check it out. She is at her best. Also there is a two disk retrospective of her work, I am not sure if it is still in print. Check ebay or amazon. The selections highlight some gems throughout her short career. The rolling stone magazines fortieth anniversary issue has some blurbs on her. I believe her sister put a book out a few years ago about her life with janis. She really in my opinion did the blues rock thing the best out the san francisco scene.

yeah...i watched her biography on the bio. channel last night...poor girl...she waz an awesome singer though i love piece of my heart... i watched some reruns of woodstock and i thought it waz jst amazing...she waz really good
