The Father, no matter his name, watches over and loves us all, no matter our color, nationality, or spiritual preferences. God love all his children equally. Remember "Footprints in the Sand"!! Peace to all!!
Based on some of the answers I've seen to this question, I have to say....it's no wonder the world is not at peace. Some people just have to put their rude 2 cents in, so they can earn two points, rather than saying a little prayer that may not help, but surely won't hurt. How do any of you know that people who ask for prayers aren't writing their congressmen too? It's not like one persons effort makes all the difference anyway. I sure hope you smart asses are writing your congressmen, and doing what you suggest, rather than just ranting at others who ask for a simple prayer. So, to all of you who waste your time and breath with rude comments for two points rather than a little prayer....Bite me!! :)

World peace is a nice idea, but that is all it can ever be. It can never be a reality. It has never been that way, and it never will. Too many people have flaws in their character and their actual brain development for there to ever be peace. There will always be a need for police and a military. I would never even think of giving those up. Peace is just not possible and never will be.

Prayers are just a desire for something to be so. If you really want world peace, *W*O*R*K* for it! Actions accomplish infinitely more than words whispered to deities.

I pray that lazy people will get off their duffs and work for world peace by writing their reps in Washington and requesting they end this stupid war in Iraq. Oh, you are too lazy to do that. Oh, well! the wars go on. God won't do your work for you.
