Wow that sounds like a great idea!
I would ask him about his favorite player/team and to tell you about his favorite baseball moment. You can then look online for a story about that game and include the story on the board. Otherwise take a look online at the site of his favorite game and look for top ten lists of best players, catches etc
Good luck with that, sounds like a great idea, if you can afford it or if your family will help you, you could also put a few tickets up on the board (either real tickets or ones you make yourself and then you can decorate the living room like a baseball park and watch the game while eating hotdogs and cracker jack!)

You are on the right track...ask him for his favorite player, team, also what world series he enjoyed most, his favorite pitcher, hitter, and also who he thinks is the best player to have ever played the game, living or dead. That last question starts a lot of discussion. Good luck. That is a great idea.

Include, and you don't have to ask him this one, something representing YOUR favorite memory of sharing baseball with your dad.
Dads love that sort of thing.
hm...
Favorite baseball card or card set (if he has one), and then obtain and attach that card or an image of it.
Favorite baseball moment, and favorite personal memory of baseball. These likely will be different things.
What, when, or whom (granddad, perhaps?) got him started loving baseball.

Ask him where he attended his first MLB game and try to include nostalgic pics of the stadium. My first game was at Veterans's Stadium, and although that place was an ugly toilet, I'll never forget how amazing it was for me to be watching a game there.
It is likely that your dad will have similar feelings about his first game.

well that would make a perfect gift for your dad but I suggest some medicines instead because as he grows older every year he's going to be looking for medicines and just a precaution have a nurse 24/7 by his side
