Oprah had a show the other day and one of her guests said that you cant find "THE ONE" if you dont love yourself. she said that you have to love yourself before you can love someone else. based on some of your answers i think she's right.
i used to ask myself why cant i find a good guy and why i keep falling for jerks and it turns out i dont love myself. its kinda hard actually when you have low self esteem and body image issues. i keep sending out bad vibes and energies and all the wrong people are picking up on them.

If you don't love and respect yourself, how can you love and respect anyone else?

I love the feeling of being in love. But at times lady luck is not on my side. I have once fell in love with a guy whom I taught is mr. right I gave everything to him only to wake up one day that I don't even know myself anymore, I felt that I only exist because of him. Asking myself where did I went wrong. Hurting I have to accept reality, that one day I'd really end up loving myself. Well as life has taught me, I have to love myself more because if others can't then who else can give me the love that I need and truly deserve.

I love myself. I don't do drugs, don't smoke, I DO get plenty of sleep and maintain a healthy lifestyle overall. I do have a significant other and I love him as well. Basically, my theory is that in order to be self actualized, according to Maslov, we have to meet our basic needs to be the person that is the best that we can be. It takes a lot of work. But in the long run, all the work pays off.

I love myself because I understand a lot of things other kids my age wouldn't. I take the time to think abou things, and I often catch myself wandering aorund in my little head, fantasizing about my newest idea for a book, and I love that I can be so creative. I love others, because they are so good to me, and I ever love those who are mean to me, and I embrace those meanies, because I know they are mean because they need love too.

Yes, I try to love myself.
Even though I have flaws, bad habits, and am not going to be the best at everything I do, I accept it, and let it go.
Nope, don't have a significant other.

Yes, if I didn't care about myself in any way, I wouldn't get up in the morning. It would help if I had a sig-o, because someone else would care too.
