im always using my laptop. when i dont i just put it on standby mode.its on most of the day. When im not in class i put it on standby and hardly shut it down and at times i leave it on the whole night if im downloading somthing. its always pluged in so i dont have to worry about the battry dieing. and should i not charge if ma battery is full. its pluged in even if the battry is full

no not really .. i keep my laptop on for two weeks sometimes...... heck the last time i restarted my laptop was a wek ago :) .... i dont have any problems so far ... but here is a hint ... try keeping ur laptop elivated .... i mean put it in an angle .. dont lay it flat ..... i do so by sticking a small box at the rear... ( where the an is) so it wont get hot ..... and wont collect dust ..... My laptop isnt new .. its 3 years old now ... cheers ...

Your battery will only charge if it needs it. The only thing that can cause you problems if you leave your laptop on is that dust will collect on the little fan that keeps the processor cool. Enjoy

not only do u wear out ur battery but u are costing more electricity bills. even a little adds up to a lot after a while. and not to mention a battery cost a lot of money. and u can wear out ur laptop motherboard

over charging might make you battery die faster so i would not recommend having it on for long periods of time

think about going and geting a laptop cooler, they run under 30.00 and extend the life of laptop. overheating is a laptops worse fear.

not as long as you keep the fan clean so that the air can move around inside of it to keep it cool
