my mom seid i could get a hamster if my room is clean for 3 to 4 weeks.he has to be cheap in the way as in not a lot of money and not in the cheesey way:).please!i realy want a cute littel hamster:(.and it has to ge in chesapeake,VA.

You can find hamsters at small pet shops, large chain pet shops, breeders, classifieds, the local animal shelter.
Remember, once you get that hamster it depends on you to take care of it for the rest of its life. You should start up a savings jar in case it ever needs to go to the vet.

PetCo, PetSmart, Petland, Pets R Us, Your local pet store.. just abut every pet store has them
Most of these place have a deal that if you buy the cage and everything you need,(cage,food,supplies) the Hamster is FREE!!
But do me a favor 1st,,
go to the library and get a GOOD book you understand about Hamsters and make sure you read up on how to take care of him/her! Even what kind of Hamster would be right for you! Learn everything you can so you and your new friend will have a long happy life together!

do you have a local pet store? if you go there they might be 10$ or higher my local pet store is E&L pets so just clean your room and go to your local pet store or buy or borrow one from a friend or do a job to get money and secretly buy the hamster and clean your room while you hide the hamster under your bed or something and in the end tell your mom afterwards that you bought the hamster and you'll what she wants!!!

Ive seen them in the pet shop at greenbriar mall and some of the pet stores in chesapeake on military hyw hope this helps

You can usually find a hamster at your any near by pet store.I have never found one at Petco.So don't go there.You could try Petorama or PetLand.

Get a rat instead!Much more intelligent,they are like dogs.And you can get them in pet stores,although often they are sold as feeders for snakes.You can save a life by getting some!

If there's a Pet smart near where you live, you could try that. i got my goldfish from there! i have had them for 3 years! 4 years ago, when i got 2 goldfish from walmart, they died like 1 day later! so don't try any walmarts!

pet supermarket, under $10.00 for the hamster, will run you about $50.00 for cage, food, water bottles etc
