I have an old laptop that doesnt have a cd drive. I want to upgrade from 98 to 98SE or 2K so I can use my wireless cardbus. Is it possible to install from a floppy? Does 98SE fit on a floppy? What about just upgrading from a floppy?

I think 98se is the last of Windows that came in floppy variety. But almost all Windows and Linux can install from hard drive to the same hard drive if you can manage it and not get them formatted away.

You might need to get an external plug-in CD drive. Almost nothing fits on a floppy diskette. I don't think they sell windows on floppies as they used to do with 20 packed diskettes that needed to be expanded. Now it is all CDs so you need that access.
