Holy crap, I hope you have all your babies (pets) inside and you have a shotgun! That would freak me out. It's so scary that they have known about him for so long! If he had been jailed for what he did to animals he would not have been able to harm people!! How sad. Stay safe, ok? Ok.

Oh my God! thats terrible. And I work with people with mental illness. Wow, I just want it stated though. That even though some people with these illness act out violently due to their hulicinations, delusions or paranoia. Most people with schizophrenia or other illnesses are not a threat. Mental illness in large is very misunderstood and very much mis-represented.

HOLY CRAP!! I live in north Alabama too and I had no idea this happened! I usually stay pretty well informed, so I can't believe I missed this! I hope they put that nut away for a long time!

What is your question? You shouldn't move; and while his disturbing behavior towards animals is unsettling, you should stay put. He's already incarcerated, and you shouldn't feel threatened unless you have a dog that has jumped on his fence, or unless you have directly (or indirectly) pissed him off.

That is soooo scary! I feel for you-I hope you have an alarm system, and until that guy is behind bars, wherever you go, go with a friend, and be aware of your surroundings.

That's awful. I hope they find his wife and her daughter before he does anything to them (if he hasn't already). It's scary to think someone that dangerous and mentally unhinged, could be living so close by.
