dell laptop mouse pad scroll problem?

the scroll bars on the mousepad of my laptop arent working. usually i can slide my finger horizontally or vertivally over the edges of the mouse pad and the page will scroll, but it just stopped working...any ideas on how to get it back?

Go to support.dell.com and download notebook system software, then reboot,install intel chipset driver, reboot then install synaptics touchpad. If it doesn't work after that, it's probably the "palm rest" that needs replacement.

Download and run spybot

Try pageup or pagedown buttons till then.
