Why do people find the need to diss things that they don't like when they should just keep their mouths shut and concentrate on what they like.It really gets on my nerves.

It's called affiliation. People have a desire to fit in. To certain groups, factions, etc that appeal to them. Sad to say but the dissing thing has become part of a few generations culture. Another thought may be jealousy because they don't have it or believe it is unobtainable..instead of working a plan towards getting it. And alas, it is immaturity. Two small children with one toy...one may not want it till the other has it...then watch out!

Excellent question. There must be some element of enjoyment in it. Sometimes I do it, and I think it is because some questions seem to beg a comment. But I will work on doing better.

Honestly, psychologists say that people that continually put other people down or things they don't like do so because they feel bad about their own lives and it is a cheap way to make themselves feel better.

That is a really good question, idk, but it does get on allot of peoples' nerves, especially if you like it, but they don't, can they just talk about it with someone else who hates it? The people that likes it really don't want to hear it, so yeah, I totally agree.
