We usually do it because we really care about the object of the worry! It's like a parent worrying about a child who isn't making the right decisions.
You love them and want them to do the right things and make the right choices. It's true that worry will not change anything, but it's a natural part of human nature.

I think the more you care the more you worry. The thing is most of the time the situation turns out to be alright anyway. And all of that worrying was a waste of time. But try to stop it, I don't know if that could be easily done.

I think as a young child we learn to try our hardest to succeed and complete things on time. and do the very best job we can. So we get to the point that we worry about everything, like is the paperwork done right. Is the house clean enough, will I have enough money to pay everything, will I get it all done on time.Am I too fat, do I look nice enough. etc. It really shouldn't be that way but it is for most people. â¥j

because of the nature of human thought. when presented with a challenge, a problem, we look to find a solution. when we can't find one, we worry and stress about what to do. especially when anticipating more problems in the future.
