If it's for fun there is a lot of anticipation and excitement in going. I'm like a kid can't wait, can't wait. When all the fun is over it's thinking about getting back to the ole drudgery of life and UnPacking for which I hate extremly.
And there are no stupid questions-Oh! I'm going to zip it right now!It's so Tempting though!

Because then you are under less stress, or if you have driven to a certain place, then the area may seem a little more familiar.

The anxious feeling you feel when going home makes the ride alot faster and your running on pure excitement of finally putting your feet on the ground again in your own place. "There is NO place like home"

Because you may not know the way where you're going or you're anticipating what will happen there, etc. It always feels that way to me too!

I think it's because when we are going we get anxious and when we are coming back it doesn't need to rush...i really don't know LOL

Because you're more consciously engaged in what you're doing, where' you're going, if you're lost and sh!t like that. Coming back, you're more relaxed because you know.
