I was being Sarcastic , The sorry libs would say this if the political parties where reversed though! actually all this lawyer crap makes me sick. this "hearing" was a waste of time! its always the same if its Hillary icant recall or Alberto i cant recall, its a conspiracy of lawyers to play the rest of us for fools

They weren't beating up on Gonzales because of his race.
They were beating up on Gonzales because Gonzales has failed to give consistent and satisfactory answers to any of the questions he has been asked -- by Senators and Reps from BOTH parties -- for the last several months.
They were beating up on Gonzales because either Gonzales is an incompetent manager (because he really doesn't know what's happening inside his own department) or because he's lying under oath. Either are grounds for his removal by CONGRESS from his position.

And I thought you'd shown your bias with the use of the name "Chucky." However, anyone who brings his race into the matter is equally biased.
Alberto "I don't recall" Gonzalez seems to be working for the President, not the people. And the job of the Attorney General is supposed to be protecting the laws of the people.

That was a 'sucker punch' and a misuse of the race card, in my opinion.

I have no love for Leahy or Schumer - but to say that they are racists for 'picking' on Gonzales - that's a bit much and probably incorrect. Many LEGITIMATE reasons exist to pick on Mr Gonzales, resorting to a racist label does no one any good.

One of the attorneys fired from Justice Department was Asian woman. I don't see her complaining about racism & sexism. Just Gonzalez being idiot.

that is your opinion. poor gonzales. i noticed that his memory came back. the guy is another of bush's appointees that is lame. bush will drop him when he gets too hot. he probably knows where a few bodies are buried, otherwise he would be gone all ready.
