National Lampoon's Last Resort. Prior to posting this I went to IMDB to check out what year it was, and it's 1994... I'm still submitting that as my answer because it's the worst movie ever made.
It starred Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, both of which I was in LOVE with back in the day when I was a kid. But to watch that movie now, I can't believe National Lampoons even put their name on it! I would say it's so horrible that you should rent it just to SEE how horrible it is - but then you'd be throwing money at something that is completely worthless.

Gotta be Howard The Duck. Not sure if it's an 80s movie but saw part of it on TV and turned the channel.
