Is there anything around the house that a cafish will eat?

Like is there anything i could use around the house without going to buy catfish food that they will eat. Least atract them to it.

That would depend a little on the species of catfish you have and what it's normal diet would be. If the species is an omnivore, they should eat some vegetable matter. Slices of cucumber, zucchini, or cooked peas with the skins removed can be given.

If your fish is a carnivore, small pieces of cooked fish or shrimp would be best.

Catfish will eat just about anything....I suggest feeding it fresh prawn in small pieces or earth worms. First wash it under tap water and clean/remove the internal cavity.

boiled, peeled peas and small pieces of ground beef since cats are omnivores. Even if you do have catfish food, you should still supplement their diet with these foods.

catfish are not picky if it is or was once living, its not whether or not they like like it rather its about their concentration , how used they are to feeding and where they are locate, since they are bottom dwellers your best bet woulb be to use some thing that sinks but here are some ideas; bread dough, salmon eggs, smoked salmon, corn, hot dogs, bologna, german bologna, salami, green peas.

if theres one thing that any fish especially catfish love it is fresh shrimp. cocktail shrimp etc. they will gulp it up instantly. I promise your fish will go crazy for it! But you have to remember to remove any large uneaten pieces if they are not eaten within 2 hours to prevent high ammonia levels. good luck

yes you can feed them chicken. Don't season it though, but yes they will probably eat chicken. And you can try anything dead, after all they are scavengers

look for a catfish and see wut they eat ok or see if your mom or dad ok!!!!!
