Does anyone else like to break out in the tunnel? What is that note which seems to resonate perfectly? It's similar to the kind of musical agreement I can find with my vacuum cleaner. help!

Any enclosed volume of air has a resonant frequency that depends on

1. The temperature of the air
2. The size/shape of the enclosure

Any pipe with a consistent diameter will have at least one resonant frequency. Humming at this frequency (and possible at multiples of this frequency) will caused a loud resonance.

I used to play my trumpet in an empty grain silo. I sounded great. Curved surfaces create awesome acoustic effects. Curved surfaces are non resonant but cause focal points diffusion and interference patterns that are more interesting than the flat ended resonant chamber.
You can buy echo machines to duplicate resonance but I have not seen a tunnel or silo digital effects yet. We should make one.
