Rowand is doing a good job for the Phillies and there is no reason to trade him. The Phillies would not be able to trade him for pitching and probably would not be able to wind up with a better position player than Rowand.

No. He's a good player and I think the Phillies would get short changed in return if they were to trade him.
Nobody is will to give up good young outfield talent at this point in the season.

Only if they feel they don't have the money to keep them. He is a tough player. I want them to keep him. I am old school, so I hate team jumping. I like seeing players stay with teams for many years. The years of Biggio, Smoltz, and Chipper Jones are long gone. It will be rare for a team to keep a player for more than 6 or 7 years.

I think they should hold onto him. (Phillies fan)
They can't get anything good to trade for, so they might as well hold onto him.
Don't count them out just yet...I have faith in Durbin and Kendrick to do much better than Garcia and that other schmuck. We're only 4 games out of a wild card

Depends on what they get for him. It seems like they are planning to replace him with Victorino next season anyway, so why not pull the trigger now? If they can get half decent pitching for a guy they are planning to cut loose, seems like it makes sense to get rid of him.

he has great hustle and mindset, but with only 4 men as outfielders for the phils, dont do it. u never know if like we cant get an outfielder and nobody is ready to be called up from ottowa, and one or more gets hurt. that would suck
