It's 8:20 p.m., and I can see two spotted fawns grazing out in the woods...it's almost dusky-dark, so they're hard to see, but their little white tails flash when they scamper around so I know where they are. The fireflies are beginning to come out too...the baby deer will go find their mom [who is back behind some cedar trees] and go to bed...and pretty soon the owls will tune up and by late night there will be little brown bats flying around the outside light getting their yumdelicious evening meal of flying insects. Wish I could say I'd seen Bigfoot or even Lindsay Lohan out there...but hey, somebody's got to be me!

there was a whole lot more activity on the cul-de-sac earlier today. But right now, the only thing going on is, the old lady who lives across from us (BTW her name is Kathy Bates, and no it's not "THE" Kathy Bates) is having her gutters replaced.

There are about 3 guys working on that still. I wonder if they will leave before the job is done and come back tomorrow, or stay as late as it takes to finish? It is 8:37pm CT, and it's getting dark....

It's 8:20 p.m. and I'm watching two cardinals eat out of my bird feeder. There are two rabbits down below eating what falls to the grounds. The sun is just setting beyond the trees and the sky is pink. Oh, and I'm watching my sprinklers water the grass. Sound like fun?

9:20 here in South Carolina. Quite, soft breeze, the air is just about perfect, peaceful and the night sky is glowing. Great night to sit on the pourch and listen to the sounds of nature.

simply, life.
My neighbor is trying to get his grill to work while his wife watches and warns him that the amount of lighter fluid he is currently dousing his coals with can in fact incinerate a small whale.

my other neighbor is throwing a bone into the yard and playing some sort of version of fetch with himself as his dog doesnt seem to want to participate.

And my last neighbor, as seen through their kitchen window, has just set some sort of timer and is now dashing frantically out of the house...
I should leave.
Good day to you sirs and ladies.

oh rite...its 6:23 PM and ALLS WELL.

8:21 CST. Peaceful street, a few cars going by. Green trees, light clouds, green grass. About 80 degrees F. A few dog walkers, joggers, etc.
