My 15 month old baby started today with a very strong diarrhea attack. I four hours she had like 6 dippers.
I read about the acidophilus but don’t know if it is safe for a baby.

Yes, it's safe for a toddler. You can break open a capsule and sprinkle it on her food, or give her active-culture yogurt.

Hope she feels better soon!

i give my daughter Life Start. it's a probiotic made for babies/toddlers. i found it at my local natural foods market, Native Sun.
i have run out though and in that situation, my pediatrician said it would be ok to give 1/2 capsule of an adult probiotic mixed in with breastmilk, formula or babyfood.

It should'nt be a problem, it's found in yogurt like Dannon Activia.. I just wouldn't give too much.. It's supossed to make you go Poop... ! Just make sure that she's getting enough water or juice and doesn't get dehydrated. Good luck
