What is an average cost to have a lawyer draft up a simple will? I don't need anything that complicated but what I do have I want protected.

How much do they charge for 1/2 hour? If you really need a "simple" will, the attorney will spend more time determining that fact than plugging the details into the form on their computer.

You may want to look into a pre-paid legal plan. Sometimes that is the cheapest way to go and then you have coverage in case you need an attorney for something else. You can also get softwear that will help you do it yourself. But to be safe it would be better to use an attorney.

look in the yellow pages for some trusts and estates lawyers in your area, call up 3 of them and ask how much they charge for a will. there is nothing wrong with asking how much they charge, it shows you are a smart consumer

well lets see... i think it`s an arm, a leg and 1/2 of your ***...write one up yourself and go see a notary public.....
