Depends on your complexion. Usually, you can't go wrong with grey. Blue may or may not work. It is better to use more that one color. Some makeup boxes have pictures with suggested combinations. Also depends on what color lipstick you prefer. If your lipstick is bright, your eyes should have a little tamer makeup, if your lipstick is softer color, then you can put more emphasis on the eyes. You don't want both to be screaming bright, that looks like a stage makeup. Remember that less is more.

You can try and go to makeup counter, but it's a gamble if you do it on the day of the event. Some makeup artists are good, some really have no clue. Try it in advance, and if you like it - ask them to write it down for you. You might want to buy some of the products from them, but if you're on the budget - drugstore eye shadow works just as good.

It depends on what you are doing with your lip color. If you're wearing a dark lipstick, go light on the eyes- natural looking shadows like brown and gold with a little bit of brown pencil.

If you're going to have a light or neutral lip color, then you could really play up your eyes with the smoky look and black liner. That might be too much for a wedding during the day though.

If I were you, instead of going and buying new eye makeup, I would go to your department store and have your makeup done.

I have done this several times, and there is no charge! I usually go to the Clinique counter, because they do the best job. Also, if you like the way they do your makeup, you can buy the products they use on you. The best part is you will know how to use the shadow, liner, etc.

Go to www.covergirl.com.
They have charts of colors and stuff so they can match different colors and types of make up to what you're wearing. It's really cool.

very small amount of black liner then a thin line of blue shadow above your eye where the crease is then rub it in so it kinda creates........well.....a shadow, not too much though! you could also play around with a frosty silver shadow.....
