I was home alone at night and somebody was breaking in. I heard a man banging on the door and twisting the door handle and yelling "let me in" I got my knife, went down to the door AND was about to shank the person at the door. I opened it and it was my bro trying to scare me. Wasn't funny at all!

I was on a ship during the Persian Gulf War in 1991 sleeping in a berthing just below the water line. On a Sunday morning there was a large explosion that shook the entire ship, yet no alarms were sounded.
It turned out a plane about to land on a nearby carrier was dropping it's live ordinance and a bomb blew up a few hundred yards away.

The scariest thing that has every happened to me is going on a blind date. He was really cute from the pic my friend showed me of him but didn't look the same when I met him in person. His breath smelled so bad I could smell it across the table. AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Never again.

A haunted cornfield at Halloween a few years ago. I got chased by a pumpkin head thing with a chainsaw.

I was held up at gun point, I was 17 working at a store and these two guys robbed us. Luckily they took the money and ran. I quit the same night.
