How the NBA changed the idea that college was necessary or not necessary for those high school players to join professional teams before getting a college degree. You can get numbers on actual graduates from early days of the the beginning of NBA until today and see if there has been a change and if it relates to salaries comparing that as well.

Easy, globalization in relation to the nba. International stars taking the nba culture all over the world! Tony parker rapping in paris, Dirk famous in germany, Yao with china. There's plenty of foreign players nowadays. And 700 words, piece of cake.

since you asked twice, love, I will be glad to copy and paste
Current NBA players: they are pissed off about the calls made against them that were horrible calls by Donaghy
Fans: disgusted, since they now dont know whether they were watching a fair game or a fixed one.
officials and ppl in charge of the nba including david stern: clueless, and now they will have to work hard to protect and preserve the image of the league.
current referees: angered, and scared of how they will be treated by the players and the fans, and a possible FBI probe.
and other sports in general... like MLB and NFL
other sports have their own problems to deal with, MLB with Barry Bond issue and roids, and NFL with Vick
is this for your college?
oh and in your post script for the paper, write this " I love Kobe Bryant".
Bon Writing!

The effect of highschool player going to the NBA - what caused them to start going in early (the raise in money mostly) and how the game changed because of it (less fundamentally sound, more athletic, more charcter problems possibly?), and how and why the NBA changed the rule to keep them away.

Considering your name says Cav's in '08 why not write it about LeBron and/ or the Cavs. They did make Cavalier history by reaching the finals this past season. Not to mention they had break out performances by Daniel Gibson and 'King' James.

Change of rules to keep the scoreboard ticking to increase viewer ratings
By changing rules to make teams more offensive oriented it would bring in more viewers as more flashy highlight reel plays are made with defenses not attacking all the time
