Wow, really nice of you. CC has an aspire 3680 for 349 after rebate. That's the cheapest price around. If you want a better computer Dell's are usually the best bang for the buck. An Inspiron 1501 os pertty cheap especially if youre good at searching the internet for coupons

Are you asking for someone on here to give her one? If you feel bad, split it with him and get her a very basic, budget model. Get the most basic things. Call Dell or Hp and it will cost around 600 or go to some store (Bestbuy, Walmart) and pick up the cheapest one.

BTW, the girl can get a job.
