I am terrified one of these idiots is actually going to get in. I am sure the terrorists are just giddy over the prospects of getting Hillary or Obama as president. Then they wont have to worry about that pesky Patriot act that has been screwing up all their plans.

The fact that we've only been attacked by outside terrorists twice doesn't clue you in to the idea that maybe it's not the Patriot Act that's been getting in the way of the terrorists?

Which means answering with that would have not addressed the question asked.
I also agree with the poster who answered that Democrats are not as fanatically committed to turning everything into fear-mongering the way some candidates are.
We've faced terrorism since the country was founded, as have every country in the world for thousands of years. Turning that into the sole and exclusively focus and priority of every issue prevents us from addressing all other issues that we face as a country.

And I also noticed that Bush's best military leaders are not talking about winning the war on terror either. When pressed, they point 20 years down the road. Please define the meaning of the word win in a war on terror!
