what steps do i need to take to become a us postal worker in new jersey?

is it hard to get in do i need to pay any money up front

I live in Arizona but you need to take the Postal Exams. The higher your score the higher up you are on the list for openings in the areas you chose. The exams are free (at least they are here). Hope that helps. And yes go to www.USPS.com to apply for the exams and learn more.
