I will put my American Muscle up against ANY struedel eatin Nazi machine. Just kiddin', there are winners on both sides of that coin. It is truly a matter of preference and how much HP we are talking about here. I have a '72 Olds Cutlass Supreme, that I would happily put on the track against German engineering, and not be scared or ashamed.

We are talking DRAG RACES not open course. When you have 1000 + horse under the hood any car colud be a winner but the buttom line is the Driver.

well, a SLR mclaren is mind blowing, a carrara gt2 does a pretty mean track time, drag time ain't as impressive but still.

but, ive seen alot more 1000+hp muscle cars than Ive seen 500+hp European cars.

so in a worldwide drag race chamionship, the ONLY country America needs to worry about is the aussies.

That depends. A 2007 Corvette Z06 is going to spank the pants off a 1981 diesel Golf, and any BMW made in the last 20 years will kill a Ford Fiesta.

American Muscle car would be my choice any day, because you can feel the power through out your entire body and mind.
It's, power that shakes your very soul!
