within a few weeks of my father dying we had to move house - I didn't want to go - I was absaloutely distraught because I believed that if I moved my father would not know where I was. I was seriously unhappy. The move came and we got busy organising everything. I was still unhappy, but I had resolved myself to it.

I am usualy a good sleeper but one night I woke up - not startled - just gently opened my eyes and my Dad was standing at the bottom of my bed. I was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open - so I blinked - when I opened them again my Dad had gone. I was so cross with myself for letting him get away without speaking to him.

I was awake.

After talking with my husband the next day - he said that I shouldn't be cross or upset - because he did what he set out to do - and that was just to show me that he did know where I was and that I was not to worry about this anymore. I was much happier after this.

Yes it has.

Just so you know, once someone dies they don't have the restraints we have in body. He will always know where you are and he will check up on you. Talk to him when you feel like it. He will hear you.

Sometimes when people past they come back to let you know the soul lives on and even if they are not here in physical form they can come to you in Spiritual form in the Etheric Body.

A Ghost is a Spirit and everyone has a "Spirit a Soul"

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body.

It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.

People that Astral Travel can appear to be a ghost in their Etheric body while travelling they can be seen and people actually think they are Ghost

Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.

Love & Blessings

Spirits are not bound by the same laws we are here in the physical world. All your father has to do to be with you is think of you, and anywhere in the world that you are, he can find you. Bonds made in life are not broken with death, as energy (soul) can not be created, nor can it be destroyed, it simply changes.

Dreams are a great place for spirits to communicate with us, because we are closer to their world than they can ever get to being in ours. When we dream, we are still alive, we are aware, we are acting out some sort of occurance, no matter how bizarre it might be. We can move and think and do and be without the limitations of the physical world...we can fly, we can breathe underwater, or talk to animals. I like to think that for our loved spirits, this is how the afterlife is for them, in a way. I think dreaming is the closest we can come while in physical form to actually being a spirit, unless we train ourself to astral project (which is difficult but possible with practice).

My mother once woke at around 3 in the morning in tears saying that something awful had happened. A few minutes later, the phone rang and it was one of my aunt's. My cousin had been murdered in Derby. A group of drunks had set about him and beat him to death.

Quite a different story but spooky all the same.

We have so many thoughts during the day it is only at night when we are totally relaxed that we can allow visitations. It was his way of telling you that he is fine and not to worry even though you had moved he knew where to come. Just feel comfort from this visit as it is very special for this to have happened....

That is a great story. You're loved ones will always know right where you are and will feel your pain, sorrows, happiness, and share your good and bad times with you. Your dad will always be with you in your heart and mind and you will be in his soul, that is what keeps you close to him after death. Don't worry, he knows where you are and you shouldn't be upset with waking up that night because he did just want to see you and let you know your worries shouldn't be worries. Good luck and peace to you.

This is a hard one.........I don't know if you saw your dad or just thought you did but my mum says she has seen my dad on quite a few occasions hes been gone over 4 years. my grandad said his wife Polly used to visit him and sit with him often. If you feel at peace perhaps it was his way of letting you know everything is OK.

Similar experience.Had a girl friend that was a widow. She had a large wedding picture on the wall in her bedroom and asked me once if it bothered me. I said no, she had loved him and now he was gone and no threat to me. Dreamed that I saw him in the distance standing on the side of a hill just looking at me. I just stood and looked back.
