I got pearl, cause diamonds are f*cuking evil and wanted to show that fact. besides, everyone got diamond.

We have 2 of each... plus Diamond in Japanese (with the bug that you can walk back through the door to the Elite Four and wander around in darkness to get Darkrai and Arceus and Shaymin).
I originally played Diamond as did my husband (who also had finished the Japanese version before the English version came out) and my 7yo son played Pearl. I then switched to Pearl to complete the Pokedex. We currently have 481 Pokemon (two missing are both from Coliseum... we lost our saved game on it and hubby is re-playing it).
We have used no hacks... we exploited the bug in the Japanese version, but we will be going to events to get them legally in the other cartridges.

i got pokemon pearl
oh yea eat that diamond peeps!
diamond has dialga steel/dragon (king of time)
and pearl has palkia water/dragon (king of space)
it's your choice depending on which game u want

pearl but diamond is way better theirs more pokemon and more action replay codes for it

diamond. but it doesnt really matter. they're exactly the same. the difference is how often each pokemon shows up.

I wanted Pearl, but my mom got me both. Right now i only play pearl.

I got pokemon pearl. i think that palkia is better than dialga but rather then that theres no difference.
