Israel has received hundreds of billions of hard earned American tax dollars in the last forty years. Why should Americans be forced to support this rich Jewish state with our tax dollars?

Ignoring the anti-Semitic bigotry inherent in your question and answering it directly, the fact is that Israel is a small country and is not rich. The key point is that it is a democracy and is an ally of the US. Israel has supplied the US with technology and intelligence. Israel spends billions on defense - a good chunk of which is spent buying weapons from US defense contractors thus helping the US economy. We have much to learn from the Israelis in how to improve our security against terrorism. All Israelis serve in their military and they have proven their willingness and ability to fight. The US has wasted much more money in Iraq and elsewhere trying to prop up dictators or puppet governments whose people and armies were not really willing or able to fight successfully. The Israelis like Americans and you do not see them burning the American flag. Beyond squandering hundreds of billions in Iraq, the US aid policy has been to support Egypt, Jordan, and Israel with a few billion a year each. The reality is that if the US stopped sending money to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel, it would lead to a decline in US influence and would further destabilize the region. Aid to Israel has been a great investment for the US -or would you prefer gas lines and $5 a gallon gas?

Well not hundreds of billions but a lot of money anyway over a very loooooong period of time. Around 3 billion a year which amounts to 2 1/2 days in iraq.

Egypt gets 2 billions a year. Jimmy Carter basically bribed both countries to sign a peace treaty. It kinda worked since MAJOR arab/israeli wars stopped after 1973.

There is probably no way to stop it, not that it matters since the money going to Israel was provided by China. The US congress is just the middleman.

so many people on y,a always come up with this B,S, well we give to other nations, and yes we do but Israel gets 80 %of our foreign aid plus they get $11 billion of our hard earned dollars for what is called the holo Caust fund which is $7,500.00 for each man woman and child in Israel, that doe's not include what England pays them nor W, Germany pays them , now they also want E Germany to pay them as well, hell if you have a wife and 2 kids in Israel you start your year off with $39,000 U,S, dollars every year since the 1950s
