Yes i am scare its going to multiply, I am pretty sure he's trying to nest

there is NO food in the shed just the kids toys and the lawnmower,

its one of those metal sheds and it doesn't loc so the kids can open it,

My BOYS are 11 years old
2 .5 years old and 1 year old

And crazy enough I am pregnant AGAIN

So if we can I'd like something that keeps the poison in one place so i don't have to worry about tiny things accidentally getting into mouths 3 years from now ya know

Thanks

i am pretty sure he moved here from the apartment complex, they rectently cleaned out the basement , probably for this reason, My crazy neighbors are always feeding the birds, POPCORN and bread that they put on the ground
plus the live right next to the complex and wouldn't ya know they have a garden too.

Chances are that you have more than one rat out in the shed.
Rats don't live alone.
You could get a cat.
You could dispense D-Con pellets for rats around the shed.
You could put rat traps in a few places around the shed.
Good luck.

Is there construction going on in your area. I had a similar problem to yours the exterminator told me it was because of the construction going on. You can kill the rat by getting a cat or setting a rat trap. After the rat is dead find the reason why you had the rat in the first place and remove the problem.
If killing the rat kinda hits you a little hard, find the reason why the rat is there, probably food, and remove the problem.

quickest way is to buy a rat trap, they look like a mouse trap on steroids. You want to get rid of it soon as it may be a female looking for a place to have young.

Glue traps are the best method to trap rats and mice.

Put some moth balls in the shed (and under it if possible). They don't care for the smell.
