Finally, someone asks this question.... He was the MAYOR of New York city for gosh sakes and that's all.... every other office he ran for he lost!!! Granted he was in charge on September 11th. Thank you for that, however, have these people heard lately --- that he didn't do right by the fire fighters or policemen or rescue workers at the time.... Okay notwithstanding 9/11 -- other than that --- what gubernatorial skills does he possess, what (state) senatorial skills, what (state) Representative skills, or dare I ask what national level experience does he have??? Come on people, we are talking about the leader of the free world!!! Personally, I am offended that apparently quite a few Republicans are taking this man seriously. We should all be very, very afraid.

He is a very strong person, if I were to end up choosing not to vote for Obama for whatever reason, I will vote for Rudy. He was a remarkable mayor through out the whole 9/11 thing, I don't think anyone esle could have done as good a job as he did.

He isn't unflexible, he isn't a straight party man, he speaks his mind openly, he has good credentials as far as accomplishments are concerned, he has a sense of humor and dosen't take himself to seriously, he has a long history of choosing people based on their abilities and accomplishments and not their political party and he is probably the only person who can actually win the War against terror. We need some one who is kind of a centralist because most people in America are in the middle and not for one party or another. He wont be weak in the face of adversity and we all saw that on 9/11 everyone was running away from the towers except the police, fire department and Rudy.

Because he has a great record as a conservative in terms of taxes, he cleaned up New York City, he is moderate of social issues, and he was the nation's greatest hero on 9/11.
And don't buy into the fireman saying bad things about Rudy. I live in NY and every fireman I've ever talked to loved the guy. Only thing they wish he did is give them more pay.
The commisioner is on the Clinton pay-roll so of course he'd say bad things about Rudy.

Because they don't want republicans in the White house and Rudy is doomed to fail outside of republicans. He is the perfect candidate for democrats to encourage to win the primary. Independents and democrats won't vote for him.

what sucks is their isnt a clear cut canidate in the field to vote for in either party there are things i dont like about all of them its a roll of the dice what canidate is coming out of what party. i like guiliani but i dont like where he stands on abortion
