A 15 min walk? 4 hour drive? 1 hour flight? You have no idea what a beach is?

The beach is about a 15 to 20 minute drive in one direction and a 2 1/2 hour drive in the other.

When I came back from Myrtle Beach it took me 15 hours to get home by car, but I live only about 2 1/2 hours from Lake Michigan and the beaches there, but then again, I don't live too far from a couple of smaller lakes with small beaches, so I would say I live less the 30 minutes from a beach.

The beach closest to my house is a lake, its about an hour and a half away. But if you want the ocean, its about a two to three hour drive.

Beach at Lake Erie - maybe 2 hours. Beach at the ocean (Atlantic), probably closer to 5 hours.

the beach is a little over an hour and a half, if were talking ocean beach.if were talking sand and water like a lake then about 30 min.

2 1/2 hours. I prefer Kiawah and Hilton Head Islands. I love Charleston as well
