Firs of all, I don't mean to be offensive or racist (some people may get offended very easy...). I'm just curious..., why do you girls like super long nails???, I mean, how do you go to the bathroom, how do you do your make-up, how do you use a computer, and most important, how do you change diapers?.
I guess after a while you get used to it, right??

I knew it!, I knew some of you will get offended just because you think everybody it's against blacks. For those of you who got mad, you need to grow up and you need self steem in your life.
I'm not saying that all black women use super long nails but a great number does..., maybe I should add the word "some" to my question, I'm sorry if you got offended, I'm not racist at all, some of my husband family is black and I love all of them.
I'm really sick that nobody can ask something about black people without being labeled as racist, or stupid as you did.

well am black and i know ur not racist , so chill ok . anyway not all black women are like this in different levels of society some black women u know always in short stuff , big hair do and as u said long nail , in other environment u see conservative black women , some other environment there's the average black women . anyway to me having high fingernails is not necessarily a black thing to me its more like a trend that people follow and it me be race motivated yes but its not about it. some people do it because of environment and character and their exposure to different people .

You should figure it out by now that people seem to ignore the "don't get offended" part. Next time say why do some (blank) people or anything like that.
Now, I know a couple of white and black chicks with long nails, but from what I saw. They don't usually have babies when they have long nails. And the computer thing, they use their long nails to type. Everything else, I don't know. I'm not going to ask them.

Sorry, I don't have long nails at all....So why do some black women have super long nails? I think it's for the same reason white women have long nails.
That's just their thing.
Post that question again and change the race..I just want to get 2 more points...

I knew this white woman that I worked with who could hardly do her job because of her long nails. She always used to dial the phone with her knuckles. I don't have long nails because I work with children and I don't want to accidentally scratch them. You cannot seriously tell me that you think that only black girls have long nails. Maybe the few that you know have them, but there are many more in the world that do not have them. I hope that answered your question.

I never wear anything false - hair, nails, contacts, etc.
I don't have long nails...sometimes I'll grow them out to a length long enough to have a nice French mani, but that's it. I can grow my own.
I think it's just personal preference...why anyone would prefer that, I'll never know. I've seen a lot of white women with long nails as well...you should pose the question to them too!

I'm a black girl, I'm not offended, I don't wear fake nails and I too wonder the same thing because it is not reasonable to have such long nails. *u*

LOL ! You're a trip girl.I personally HATE those long stripper nails.It's almost impossible to do anything with them on and it is so dangerous if you have small children (I know a woman who accidently stabbed her son in the eye).
