He likes to keep his private life private. To my knowledge he's never publicly stated his sexual orientation. I do remember him getting into a debate on TV with someone who was against gay marriage and Anderson said "But WE pay taxes too". Could have been a Freudian slip.

Cooper has never married, and has actively avoided discussing his relationships or even his sexual orientation, citing a desire to protect his neutrality as a journalist:

"I understand why people might be interested. But I just don’t talk about my personal life. It’s a decision I made a long time ago, before I ever even knew anyone would be interested in my personal life. The whole thing about being a reporter is that you're supposed to be an observer and to be able to adapt with any group you’re in, and I don’t want to do anything that threatens that."

His public reticence contrasts deliberately with his mother's life spent in the spotlight of tabloid journalists and her publication of memoirs explicitly detailing her affairs with celebrities. Independent news media have reported that he is gay, and in May 2007, Out Magazine ranked him second among "The Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America." He does discuss some aspects of his personal life including his desire to have a family and children.

Anderson doesn't like to talk about his personal life especially his love life, which is fine because it's nobody's business.

In general there are rumors that he's gay, but no facts. They are just rumors. He has never come out in public, just people twisting his innuendos and words around to make it sound like he's gay.

I doubt if he even has time for a relationship since he works like two jobs 24/7. (Meaning CNN and 60 minutes and PR stunts etc)

Either way he falls I love him anyway.

Cheers.

I think hes a cool guy and great reporter - and yes i do think hes gay.
Hes never been married - and there is just something about him.
But then again i have never been married either and i am 100% straight. So that might not mean anything.
Put it this way - i wouldnt be suprised if hes gay.

I asked my dad if he was straight and he said as straight as a wet noodle. I heard the same rumors. I don't think he's gay. I think he's kinda attractive, in a mysterious way.
