Flowmaster mufflers WILL NOT get any louder after break in. All flowmaster mufflers are "chambered" with no sound deadening materials, so the noise level you have now is all you are going to get.

You could change exhaust tips, or go with larger diameter exhaust pipe.

Also, bends in the tail pipe changes the tone as well.

If you're not happy with the sound, and you want a "meaner" sound, have the exhaust dump out before the rear wheels to the side.

it's like any muffler, once they get older they get louder, if you wanted a more agressive sound you should have gotten the super 40 or the newest bad boy the super 44.

What you have, is what you have. It is not going to change unless it starts wearing out and then it should get louder. good luck.
