My husband and I are planning a trip to D.C and we are planning to use the metro for travel. Neither of us have ever used a metro system as we are from a small town. Will the system be easy for us to use while we are there?

Any suggestions or tips will be helpful. Thank You!

Oh- just some extra info: We are staying with family in Gainesville, VA and we are planning to visit the city most days.

Of all the cities I have been to with a subway, DC's Metro is by far the easiest and most passenger friendly.

yes it is. I checked it out on line first to make sure I knew where I would be going and where to get on and off.
