Weird beetle identification?

Anyone know what the beetle or bug is pictured above? I found it one morning outside my house it had to be at least an inch long maybe even inch and a half, wife went outside to look at it later after I left and she said it had its hands out with pinchers on it like it was tryin to grab at her, freaked her out bad she didnt wanna go out the front door. It had very long antenna and long legs. nothing ive seen before

well I did some searching and im guessing its a cottonwood borer

Looks like Asian long horned beetle
or could be a pine borer beetle . they look alot alike.
the asian one attacks hard wood trees and they are trying to get rid of them in this country....Better take that pic.(or one of the bugs) to your cooperative Extension for a posative ID.
