I've been there, but I back out. I try to maintain some sense of courtesy regardless of how other people act. It's like if a guy cuts you off in traffic and you let it completly ruin your morning, meanwhile, that guy is now 3 miles away and never even saw you so he's having a great morning. I really try not to let other people determine how I'll respond.
Although I do get bent outta shape when I've only got two things and someone with a full cart just HAS to get there in front of me. I may be a zipper head, but that's acting like a pinhead.

why yes i have, lol. i have been injured by carts, once i asked this old lady why she was buying so many cans of whipped cream, she rammed me good! i have had a tooth knocked out and a contest to see how many cases of beer that could be stuffed into one. i really just like making out in the checkout aisle the best. i have a first place ribbon in cart racing in the parking lot.............

I have both given and gotten a lot of sideways dirty looks from people. Once in a while the loser will tap me on the shoulder and ask if they can go ahead of me. I just tell 'em Sorry, I'm late for work. But then one lady pretended to go into labor and everybody was staring so I let her go ahead.

I usually let them win ... unless I can arrange it to where it's a "clean" non-aware appearance of "just happened to be here ..."
