Lol my aunty is terrible for getting sayings muddled up. My favourite one was 'you shouldn't throw bricks at people in glass houses'. I'm sure she was right, but I'm not sure why it was relevant to our conversation...

Apparently the gold ring on a sty actually works - my boyfriend used to get them and that's what his mum and his nan used to do.

I like to use 'reap what you sow'. I think that's so important in life, but too many people forget it. And 'do as you'd have done unto yourself'. Also very important, and I try to live my life that way. With the odd exception of course.

Well it used to be "Red sky at night shepherd's delight" but I don't see it these days but it *was* raining on St. Swithin's Day so make of that what you will
